OK. Today is August 3rd. This is officially my first log.

So the other day, while I was talking to my girl, Jessica. For those of you that do not know her, we've been together 1+ year. We started a conversation that started like this...

so i went home this past weekend and liny and i got to spend some time together on saturday. we shopped, watched napoleon dynamite, and then had dinner at pasta pomodoro. yum! ive been craving that since ive moved to chico. anywhooo... napoleon dynamite is one friggin funny as hell movie. if you guys havent seen it, go watch it!

"geeeez napoleon! why dontcha go make yerself a quesa-dill-uh"

"lafawnduh is like.. the best thing thats ever happened to me. dont worry napoleon. you'll find your soulmate one day. [pause] peace out."

omg so funny. so much more i could put here but so little time. you might as well just watch it yourself.

anywhoo... no pics of the weekend. but erm.. yah.. maybe next time!

this weekend, liny went up to chico to visit me again! yay we had lotsa fun. saturday night, we went to an 80s party where it was more or less mandatory to be in costume. or else.. "anyone who doesnt come in a costume will get booed and beaten up on the front lawn" so.. liny and i went in costumes!

heres a pic of us in our costumes. its a little hard to see cuz we had to take it ourselves and we didnt have anywhere to set the camera to do the timer thing. stupid us didnt think of asking someone to take the pic of us while we were still at the party

yah.. its a lil blurry.. this one is more in focus.. but cuz of the flash against the mirror you cant see our faces too clearly.

we took off our shoes before the pic. liny had on these beaten up old brown loafers and i had these turquoise jelly slip on shoes. so perfect for the 80s. anywhoo.. the party was fun. the rest of the weekend was spent just hanging out.. going to the park, shopping for books, and an uber horrible experience at applebees.. but i wont get into that. alrightie.. til next time!
